There were a lot of celebrities that I want to be when I was in my teens. I wanted any one of the pussycat dolls’ body, a tight ass like Jessica Biel, a sun-kiss skin like Jennifer Aniston, hips like Shakira and sexy boobs like Kim Kardashian. Yes, apparently I WAS never happy with my body. But there was this celebrity that I wanted everything she has, Ashlee Simpson. She was and still is as beautiful. I was the world’s biggest copycat. She has beautiful sultry green eyes and being born asian, I have a set of chestnut brown eyes which I am proud of. I had to buy the pair of green contact lens, in the end, I looked bad. Bad is the word. She also had and still has a great sense of fashion. Again, I copied the way she dressed. Yes, I had a similar pair of red polka dot skirt. And double yes, I wore it with a white tank top. I didn’t looked as sexy as she was as I had humble boobs during my teens. I also bought Converse sneakers as she always wore them. I cannot emphasize how big a copycat I am. I also wanted the hairstyle that she wore, the picture below. But thanks or no thanks to my broad jaws, the hairstylist said “No no no” (Am I hearing Amy Winehouse’s voice?) I remembered I had a blog and its blogskin was photos of Ashlee Simpson. I closed down that blog and have no pictures of it. I really wished I didn’t close it down so I can see how silly I was. I can’t believe I was that psychotic or obsessed over her. Luckily, I changed. Not because she was a bad role model but I needed to be me. And I needed to be happy with what I was born with. I began to start liking my broad jaws as it was unique (Also, friends told me I looked like Natalie Kelley and Behati Prinsloo. Damn, I would be out of my mind if I wasn’t flattered.) I wonder if anyone ever was a huge copycat like me.

Tis’ the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Exactly 8 more days to CHRISTMAS. (presents and christmas tree aside, don’t forget that it is a commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ)

I have yet to find a dress to wear for Christmas. I was thinking of a flirty yet decent dress but I can’t seem to find one. Probably it’s contradicting. Heh.

I will be gone for a few weeks to fully enjoy Christmas.

MY FIRST RANT!

People, I don’t mean to rant but there are some things that piss me off on a daily basis. I need to diffuse the anger in me.

#1 – The “mind” speaker
In a crowded place, it is perfectly normal to need someone to move slightly to enable you to walk. Well, a simple “excuse me” is basic courtesy and I would kindly move aside for you to manoeuvre. IF you were to walk to me and stare at me like I am supposed to move, that’s just plain rude. I CAN’T BLOODY READ MINDS.

#2 – The escalator poofy
Suddenly you are going up/down the escalator, then when we reached the designated level, we will walk away to wherever. Some people, WHY DO THEY HAVE TO STAND RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ESCALATOR AND “THINK”? I am right behind you and there are people behind me. WE NEED TO MOVE! What is wrong with them? Go to a corner and “think”.

#3 – Button Mushroom
After clearly knowing that I pressed the button for that certain level, another person would come and press the same button again. The button is lighted up already, can’t they see that? Wow, after you press the button again, we would go to magical land. TARD.

I realised I actually didn’t blog about my beautiful best friend, Mocha Bronz Lee. What is wrong with me?

Soon after lying down, he bit and deflated the whole neck-rest. THAT’S MY BOY!

This will be very complicated sort of post which consist of different other posts as well. (comprehendable?)

The first post: It has something to do with LEMONS.

I tried taking an artsy fartsy photo of lemons and I know I failed big time. “oh whatever!”

My elder sister made Lemon Meringue Tart. (She has to be that sweet to bake me one as I loveee it)

Whilst in the oven-lee (yeah, all items in my house have a surname)

A litte nip/tuck to the pie. Gorgeous isn’t it?

This was the recipe that she followed and I have to say, my sister is a very successful copycat. The one that my sis baked was uncanny with the one from the recipe. “Good job meine schwester. Ich liebe dich so sehr”

My family and I went to Feng Shan Market (a.k.a 85 Market @Bedok). After feasting there, my dad felt the need to pack more food home and he did. We feasted at home again.

For the appetiser: Bar Chor Mee (Minced Meat Noodles)

The noodles was PERFECT. It was so good, I became a weird bird that screams around 5am and 5pm. OHH OOOH.

Barbecued Chicken Wings with a dash of lime juice

Chuk Chuk (SNAILS?) I LOVE TO EAT SNAILS! The trick to sucking this snail is to wait for it to cool down before sucking.

Sambal Sotong.

Sambal Stingray and add it to the chin-jia-lo! HEAVEN!

Oyster Omellete. Girls with low libido, you can try this for a cheap fix. (JUST KIDDING!)

___NEXT POST___

So recently, my siblings and I were discussing the plans of our sooner or later funerals. As siblings, we are responsible for organising the funeral for each other.

This is a note to myself so in the future, I will still remember how to organise it.

For my elder sister, she requested to not have a niche. She wants to be placed at home somewhere. My bro suggested to put some autographed netball in the coffin along with her body. (Quite a simple funeral)

For my brother, in his coffin, we will have to put Funshion and the latest iPhone. We are not putting a SIM card as we do not wish to receive any messages/calls from him.

For myself, I do not want a niche as well. I want my urn to be placed just beside Mocha’s. I want to be with Mocha forever. I also requested for my sister’s Lemon Meringue Tart to be in my coffin.

For my youngest sis, in her coffin, we have to place KFC Buddy Meal, Double Mcspicy burger with Fries, Hazelnut KOI drink, Gong Cha and LJS Chicken with Fries. (That will be an expensive funeral)

Have you heard this song called “The one that got away” by Katy Perry?

You should.

The song can be described in a word: Beautiful, (period).

Nowadays, mainstream music are all about sex, drugs, booze and what not. But this song is different. It is like the songs from the <90′s. It brings tears to my eyes (well, I get it cos’ I am overly emotional most of the time)

After listening to the song, I realised about the people around me that I love a lot. I would never want them to be the one that got away. & treasure them.

Also, after listening to the song, I kept yelling “THE ONE, THE ONE, THE ONE” till my siblings had to shut me up.
